Proud, native born Texan (Yee-haw!). Raised in San Antonio, Texas, USA.  I enjoy watching and playing sports like football, basketball, and running. I'm an amateur astronomer and love observing the night sky like the Moon, planets, meteor showers, and man-made objects like satellite passings.  I've been educated in electrical engineering at both UT and Texas A&M.  Engineering feels right at home. I have a love for knowledge and creating new things.  I love understanding how things work with those "Ah-ha!" moments and also trying to improve them.
    
    As an engineer, I have a strong passion for solving society's problems and I like to see the usefulness of anything that I do.  I also have an entrepreneurial side and I am very interested in social entrepreneurship and philanthropy as a career.  It is a passion of mine to work towards a common good and help advance society with technology and change. I admire all the major technological contributions of past scientists (Newton, Maxwell, Einstein, Bell, Edison, Marconi, etc.) and aspire to one day contribute as they did...even if by a small amount.
